A freira francesa irmã André, a pessoa mais velha do mundo, faleceu aos 118 anos na França, disse sua casa de repouso à Reuters na terça-feira (17).
Lucile Randon, que assumiu o nome de irmã Andre quando ingressou em uma ordem de caridade católica em 1944, havia sobrevivido à covid-19 no ano passado.
Ela nasceu em 11 de fevereiro de 1904 e era a pessoa viva mais velha do mundo, de acordo com a lista de classificações mundiais de supercentenários do Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
